Research on Minimally Invasive Medical Devices and Technologies for Anal Fistula Treatment

Abstract:

The treatment of high complexity anal fistula faces significant challenges in both clinical and technical aspects. Traditional open surgery causes severe anal damage, which can easily lead to sequelae such as anal stenosis, defects, and fecal incontinence, placing a great burden on patients' physical, psychological, and family health. This article introduces the methods and related medical devices for minimally invasive treatment of anal fistula. From a technical perspective, existing minimally invasive anal fistula treatment methods are classified, mainly focusing on the application and development of endoscopic anal fistula treatment technology, absorbable biological stent technology, and laser ablation technology in the minimally invasive treatment of anal fistula. It can provide reference for the research of minimally invasive treatment of anal fistula and related medical devices.
