Abstract：

With the formation and development of historical materialism by Marx and Engels, their values are gradually forming and developing. Marx and Engels, starting from the reality and concrete "human", believed that values are formed in history and are subject to the constraints of history and social practice; The connotation and values should have characteristics such as historicity, sociality, objectivity, class specificity, and concreteness; The realization of value is realistic, and the criterion for evaluating values is social practice. Therefore, for the analysis of values, we should adopt historical, class, and specific analytical methods.
