Abstract：

To verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the paths of enhancing and empowering ideological and political (I&P) education in foreign language teaching, this paper selects typical teaching scenarios of higher and basic education, analyzes the practical application of the paths with specific teaching cases, and sorts out the implementation process and effect feedback. On this basis, a comprehensive safeguard system is constructed from three dimensions of teachers, resources and systems to solve the practical difficulties in the implementation of the paths. Finally, the research limitations are summarized, and the future research direction is prospected from expanding research scope, deepening empirical research, optimizing regional adaptation and exploring technology integration. This paper aims to provide practical reference and long-term guarantee for the landing of the enhancement and empowerment paths, and promote the sustainable development of the integration of foreign language teaching and I&P education.
