Abstract：

In the digital-intelligent era, the in-depth integration of digital technologies  has promoted the high-quality development of the cross-border e-commerce industry,  imposing higher and more comprehensive requirements for the core language competencies of cross-border e-commerce professionals. This paper first clarifies the core connotation of core language competencies in the digital-intelligent era.Then, it systematically analyzes the current situation of the cultivation of core language competencies for cross-border e-commerce majors. As indicated by relevant research , the current cultivation is characterized by gradually increased attention but deviation in positioning, initially established curriculum system but disconnection from industry demand, attempted teaching methods but insufficient innovation, gradually carried out practical teaching but low effectiveness. On this basis, it deeply explores the prominent dilemmas existing in the cultivation process. It is expected that this research can provide a theoretical reference for optimizing the cultivation path of core language competencies for cross-border e-commerce majors and improving the quality of talent cultivation in the digital-intelligent era .
