Research Progress on The Treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction with Inhibitors of Proprotein Converting Enzyme Subtilisin 9

Abstract:

Coronary artery (hereinafter referred to as coronary artery) atherosclerosis is the main pathological basis leading to acute myocardial infarction. At present, the mainstream view is that the preprotein converting enzyme subtilisin 9 (PCSK9) is directly related to the occurrence and development of coronary atherosclerosis. Therefore, in recent years, PCSK9 inhibitors have gradually been applied to the treatment of acute myocardial infarction. This article will focus on the relationship between PCSK9 inhibitors and acute myocardial infarction, providing reference for the application of PCSK9 inhibitors in acute myocardial infarction.
