Reasons for Substandard Information Quality of Over- The-Counter Transactions in China's Derivatives Markets

Abstract:

This article aims to conduct research on the poor quality of information in the over-the-counter trading of China's derivatives market, which lacks authenticity, timeliness, and effectiveness. Firstly, it analyzes the overall environment of China's derivatives market and sets out qualification requirements for information quality from multiple dimensions. It clearly stipulates the objective requirements that should be met for information quality to be qualified. Then, it points out the reasons for the poor quality of information and proposes solutions for the existing problems in the derivatives market by combining technological innovation. Based on the examples of 2025 and 2026, it analyzes the feasibility of innovative technology empowering the over-the-counter trading regulatory system, providing a practical and feasible approach to improving the authenticity and effectiveness of information in the over-the-counter trading.
