Abstract:
In the modern vocational education system, practical teaching in nursing programs is a key link in
cultivating high-quality, application-oriented nursing professionals. With the Ministry of Education’s promotion
of the “Post-Course-Competition-Certificate Integration” concept, nursing education in universities has gradually
shifted from a traditional course-driven model to a comprehensive practical teaching system guided by job
requirements, enhanced by competitions, and empowered through professional certification. This study, based
on the practical needs of university nursing education, analyzes the intrinsic logic and value orientation of this
integrated approach and proposes a multi-dimensional framework centered on job competence, supported by
curriculum systems, driven by competition platforms, and oriented toward professional certification. The study
argues that this integration aligns teaching content with professional standards and promotes the comprehensive
improvement of students’ professional abilities, innovative thinking, and clinical competence. By examining the
current state of practical nursing education and exploring actionable strategies, this paper provides theoretical
and practical guidance for the reform and innovation of nursing education and talent cultivation models in
universities.
