Research Progress on Pressure Testing Technology of Shock Wave Reflection Using Pressure Rod

Abstract:

Explosion shock wave is the main destructive element of explosives in their external effects. The development of new weapons and equipment, the research and development of explosive materials, the design of protective engineering, and the assessment of safety accidents all place high demands on the measurement of shock wave pressure under close range explosion conditions. The pressure rod type shock wave reflection pressure testing system has the advantages of large range and strong anti-interference ability, and has been widely used in close range explosion load measurement. This article briefly introduces the development history and technical status of the pressure rod type shock wave reflection pressure testing system, with a focus on the stress wave dispersion effect and correction methods in the rod. It also introduces the research progress of multiple domestic units and the Northwest Nuclear Technology Research Institute, and puts forward suggestions for future development.
