Abstract:
Cold chain logistics refers to the process where products are constantly in a low-temperature environment during circulation, including transportation, distribution, processing, packaging, storage, distribution, and retail. Transporting products through cold chain logistics can reduce losses and enable consumers to obtain high-quality and fresh products. The development of cold chain logistics technology in China lags behind developed countries, mainly manifested in low cold chain transportation and distribution rates and low per capita cold storage area. At the same time, there are also problems such as outdated infrastructure, incomplete systems, and low levels of informatization, which seriously restrict the construction and improvement of the agricultural product quality and safety guarantee system. Against the backdrop of rapid development of modern information technology, the scientific and rational application of big data technology in the cold chain logistics process of agricultural products can not only enhance the storage environment control capability in the circulation process of agricultural products, but also ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products, and achieve resource integration, cost reduction and efficiency improvement. This study explores the current situation of cold chain logistics at home and abroad, as well as the significance of the development of cold chain logistics for agricultural products. It proposes that the advantages of the big data era should be fully utilized to construct a cold chain logistics platform for agricultural products, providing support for the development of cold chain logistics for Chinese agricultural products. The agricultural product cold chain logistics platform based on big data includes a data infrastructure layer, an information management layer, and an application layer. Through big data technology, the core links in cold chain logistics are optimized to achieve effects such as optimizing agricultural product logistics transportation and warehousing management, strengthening agricultural product quality and safety control, enhancing precision sales and efficient distribution capabilities, and improving information exchange and sharing capabilities. Finally, this study proposes that in the era of big data, the agricultural cold chain logistics industry should pay attention to top-level design, strengthen cold chain infrastructure construction, do a good job in building big data systems and deep data mining, and accelerate the cultivation and introduction of high-tech talents.
