On the Disciplinary Attributes and Connotations of Music Performance Psychology

Abstract:

Music performance is an important part of music art activities, and the theoretical research of "music performance psychology" involves a series of issues such as "attention", "emotion", "perception", "interest", "imagination", "intuition", "memory", "mood" of music performers (singers), as well as "regulation and control of on-site psychology". In addition, the issue of "intuition" also involves "perception", "consciousness", and "unconsciousness", which are all topics that "music performance psychology" research must face. The article discusses various issues in music performance psychology, including whether "music performance psychology" can become a discipline, its disciplinary attributes, knowledge system, research methods, and the status and role of "people" in the study of this discipline.
