Marxist Social Justice Theory and Its Practical Implications

Qiqi Huang, Xiao Fu

(School of Marxism, Yunnan University)

Abstract:

Marx's theory of social justice is based on dialectical materialism and historical materialism. By revealing the law of surplus value in capitalism, it proposes a humanistic concept of social justice based on material interests, establishes a social justice stance of seeking benefits for the proletariat and impoverished groups, and forms the value ideal of communist social justice. In the past hundred years, the CPC has led the Chinese people to make arduous exploration for social justice under the guidance of Marxism. By developing productive forces, they have constantly consolidated the material foundation of social justice, and gradually formed the concept of social justice that integrates substantive justice and procedural justice, all the people are masters of the country, and the "people are the center". The practice and development of Marxist social justice theory in China will continuously inspire the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era to move towards a more fair and just direction.
