Abstract:

Helicobacter pylori infection represents a dominant pathogenic factor in chronic gastritis, and it exerts comprehensive effects on the structural integrity and functional stability of gastric mucosa. The occurrence and progression of gastric mucosal injury induced by Helicobacter pylori infection involve multiple complex pathways, including direct bacterial damage, abnormal inflammatory response, oxidative stress imbalance, and disorder of gastric mucosal barrier function. The eradication of Helicobacter pylori is an important measure to prevent and treat Helicobacter pylori-associated chronic gastritis and reduce the risk of gastric mucosal injury, which is of great significance for maintaining gastric mucosal health and improving the quality of life of patients. This study systematically elaborates on the specific mechanisms of gastric mucosal injury in Helicobacter pylori-associated chronic gastritis, summarizes the common strategies and implementation paths of Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy, analyzes the factors affecting the effect of eradication therapy, and puts forward relevant suggestions for the optimization of eradication therapy, so as to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of Helicobacter pylori-associated chronic gastritis.
