Abstract:

Higher vocational education aims to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents as its core objective. Professional courses, serving as the core vehicle for skill development, have their teaching models directly impacting the quality of talent cultivation. Traditional teaching in higher vocational professional courses faces challenges such as the disconnection between theory and practice, lack of student initiative, and insufficient targeting of skill cultivation, making it difficult to meet the job market demands of industries and enterprises for technical and skilled personnel. Project-based teaching, as a teaching model centered on practical projects and oriented towards ability development, can effectively address the pain points of traditional teaching and achieve the teaching goal of "learning by doing, doing by learning". This paper, considering the characteristics and teaching requirements of higher vocational professional courses, systematically studies the optimization design path of project-based teaching, constructs a scientific and comprehensive teaching effect evaluation system, and explores the application strategies and effect improvement methods of project-based teaching in higher vocational professional courses. It aims to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the teaching reform of higher vocational education, helping higher vocational colleges cultivate more technical and skilled talents that meet the development needs of industries.
