Abstract:

Against the dual background of regional economic transformation and upgrading and the connotative development of higher education, cultivating applied talents that meet regional industrial demands has become a core task for universities to serve local development and resolve the structural contradiction between talent supply and demand. Currently, there are still problems in the docking between the cultivation of applied talents in universities and regional industrial demands, such as imprecise alignment, shallow integration, and imperfect guarantees, leading to the prominent coexistence of "difficulty in employment" and "difficulty in recruitment." Based on the four core dimensions of universities, enterprises, society, and the talents themselves, this paper systematically analyzes the key factors affecting their docking, constructs a four-dimensional docking path of "university-led, industry-education integration, government-guided, and socially-coordinated," and proposes targeted safeguard measures from the four levels of university internal, enterprise participation, government policies, and social environment. This provides theoretical reference and practical guidance for promoting the precise docking between the cultivation of applied talents in universities and regional industrial demands, and for achieving the organic connection of the education chain, talent chain, industrial chain, and innovation chain.
