Abstract:
In the context of globalization of information technology, contemporary college students are facing increasingly complex and changing social environments and psychological challenges. How to effectively carry out ideological and political education for college students, cultivate their healthy mentality and positive qualities, has become an important topic that university teachers need to conduct in-depth research on. Positive psychology, with its unique perspective and methods, provides new ideas and directions for ideological and political education of college students. By applying positive psychology to the ideological and political education of college students, universities can better enhance their ideological and political level and psychological qualities. In this regard, the article elaborates on the definition of positive psychology, and based on this, studies the value of positive psychology in ideological and political education, as well as the main challenges faced by universities in ideological and political education. Furthermore, it explores the application of positive psychology in ideological and political education in universities, in order to better improve the psychological quality and social adaptability of college students.
