On the Teaching Value and Application Strategies of Digital Textbooks

Abstract:

The key to constructing digital textbooks is to grasp their core values and contemporary connotations. It is necessary to adhere to the objective laws of education and teaching as guidance, while also paying attention to the new value orientation of teaching reform, and providing support for students' personalized and self-directed learning. Textbooks, as core curriculum resources, adhere to the principle of educating students, and their teaching value is the core value of both paper and digital textbooks. The application of information technology has provided digital textbooks with richer forms of teaching value representation, specifically manifested in presenting three-dimensional teaching content, shaping rich teacher-student activity methods, and constructing a digital teaching activity environment. The development of digital textbooks should be directed towards the practical needs of teaching. Based on grasping their teaching value, further strategies for applying digital textbooks to deep learning should be formed: creating teaching scenarios to promote students' embodied engagement; Carry out rich teaching activities and guide students to actively participate in knowledge structure; Establish a teacher-student learning community and actively engage in dialogue and cooperation; Timely conduct teaching reflection and evaluation to meet students' personalized needs.
