Abstract:
This paper primarily investigates the role of lower-limb exoskeleton technology in enhancing joint load-bearing capacity and reducing energy expenditure. By reviewing the effects of different types of lower-limb exoskeletons on metabolic energy expenditure during walking, it analyzes the challenges and issues in current research and identifies trends and directions for improvement in lower-limb exoskeleton development.
