Abstract:

In recent years, public safety incidents have occurred with increasing frequency. The shifts in public sentiment triggered by these events are not only manifestations of individual psychological responses but also critical to social stability. Therefore, this paper first takes the "Northeastern University China Gold Incident" as a case study, collecting text data from Weibo posts related to the event. Secondly, through multi-source data integration, text mining and sentiment analysis, it explores the types of group sentiment and the patterns of their evolution. Finally, the study investigates public safety decision-making behaviour within the context of multimodal intelligent systems. This aims to provide theoretical references and support for enhancing public safety governance capabilities.
