Applications of Linear Algebra in Image Processing

Abstract:
Linear algebra is an important mathematical foundation of image processing. This paper analyzes its applications in image representation, pre-processing, enhancement, transformation, feature extraction, segmentation, and compression. Matrix and vector operations enable structured image representation and efficient computation, providing theoretical and technical support for modern image processing.
