A Study on the Construction of a “Health First” Education System in Higher Education Institutions from the Perspective of Healthy School Development ——From the Perspective of Counselor Work

Abstract:

Against the backdrop of the Healthy China strategy and healthy school initiatives, universities must integrate the "health first" philosophy into moral education and talent cultivation. From counselors' perspective, national policies, the theory of holistic human development, and students' health status all require a "health first" education framework. In current educational practices, there are challenges in four dimensions: conceptual integration, capacity support, environmental facilitation, and collaborative mechanisms for health education. In practical approaches, counselors should focus on value guidance, professional competence, daily educational interventions, and coordinated efforts to turn health education into action, helping students develop good health and well - rounded personalities and laying a health foundation for new generations.
