Exploration of the Application and Construction of Big Data in the Whole Potato Industry in Shandong Province

Abstract:

This article focuses on analyzing the existing data of the entire potato industry in Shandong, in order to grasp the characteristics of production, circulation, warehousing, processing and other links. Analysis of production process data shows that potatoes in Shandong are planted in spring and autumn seasons, with Tengzhou and Jiaozhou being the main planting areas; The analysis of data in the circulation process reveals that market price fluctuations follow a "three-year cycle" pattern, and the benefits of refined management are outstanding. The export to Shandong ranks first in the country; The analysis of data in the warehousing process shows that the warehousing capacity can still meet the needs, and the construction of cold storage should focus on developing modern and new constant temperature warehouses; The analysis of processing data reveals that the processing capability needs to be improved. This article envisions the construction of a single variety big data platform for potatoes in Shandong, the development of modern precision agriculture in the production process, the establishment of a measurement and control system that integrates heaven, earth, and air, and guidance for intelligent production; Develop an online trading system for potato e-commerce in the circulation process, establish a quality and safety traceability system, and improve the quality and safety level of agricultural products; Enhance the potato refrigerated packaging industry in the warehousing process, accelerate the establishment of refrigeration, warehousing, and logistics alliances; Developing the potato staple food processing industry in the processing stage and promoting the agglomeration and development of processing enterprises. Efforts should be made to strengthen top-level design and overall coordination, enhance the integration and research and development of key big data technologies, and promote data sharing, openness, development, and utilization. Subsequently, it is proposed that the future development of the potato industry will focus on accelerating the adjustment of regional layout, preventing excessive fluctuations in potato prices, and strengthening the analysis and early warning of the entire industry chain information, in order to better lead the sustainable and high-quality development of the potato industry.
