Abstract：

The synthesis and purification methods of fluoromethane are reviewed. The technological process  and  catalyst preparation  for the  synthesis  of fluoromethane by  gas-phase hydrodechlorination method and gas-phase catalytic fluorination method are emphatically introduced. The ability of various purification methods to remove impurity components is introduced, and the selection of suitable preparation process for crude fluoromethane and refining process for high-purity electronic grade fluoromethane are prospected.
