Abstract:
Currently, the digital economy has become the core engine driving global economic growth, and the deep integration of data factors with intelligent technologies is reshaping industrial forms and value creation logic. Generative AI, represented by large language models, has emerged as a disruptive force, leveraging breakthrough capabilities in content generation, knowledge reasoning, and multimodal fusion to achieve a paradigm shift from discriminative intelligence to generative intelligence, thereby profoundly altering the underlying operational mechanisms of the digital economy. Meanwhile, although China's digital economy continues to expand in scale, it still faces structural challenges including core technology constraints, insufficient industrial integration, and lagging governance systems. Against this backdrop, systematically investigating the internal mechanisms, practical dilemmas, and implementation pathways through which generative AI empowers digital economy development carries significant theoretical value and practical implications for accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces and promoting high-quality economic development.
