Abstract：
As a social dialect variant coming from internet culture, online language reconstructs contemporary communication paradigms, exhibiting a series of linguistic features related to high context dependence, strong emotional drive, and weak grammatical constraints. The Internet neologism "X+dazi" is an extended form of the popular internet term "dazi" which is largely influenced by the disyllabic construction, the "X+zi" construction, and the "da+X" construction. Not only does it reinforce the functional identity of a partner, but it also elaborates on the temporality and looseness of companionship identities in different communication scenarios. This research follows the "reality-cognition-language" framework in Embodied Cognitive Linguistics and data associated with it, aiming to explore the cognitive mechanisms and social motivations of the "X+dazi" construction.
