Abstract:

Against the backdrop of implementing the dual-carbon strategy and advancing new engineering disciplines, chemical engineering education is evolving from cultivating process application-oriented professionals to developing green innovation specialists with interdisciplinary competencies. Traditional chemical engineering course teaching cases suffer from outdated content, severe homogeneity, and a lack of cutting-edge CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage) practical examples, which hinders the development of students' capabilities in process optimization, technological innovation, and engineering design.

Key Words:

innovation capability development; chemical engineering specialized courses; CO2 resource utilization; CCUS technology; teaching case library
