Cause Analysis and Process Improvement Scheme of Common Defects of Gravure Printing in Automobile Interior Film Production

Abstract:
Gravure printing is a key process in the manufacturing of the decorative layer of INS automotive interior film. The quality directly affects the appearance grade and injection molding yield of interior parts. In actual production, knife line, plate blocking, overprint inaccuracy, poor ink adhesion and electrostatic problems occur frequently. This paper analyzes the causes of defects from five aspects: ink performance, plate printing condition, equipment parameters, environmental conditions and operation process, and puts forward some improvement measures, such as optimizing ink formula, improving plate making process, adjusting equipment parameters, strengthening temperature and humidity management and introducing intelligent detection. The research shows that the establishment of a closed-loop mechanism of defect identification, cause tracing, process optimization and effect verification can effectively reduce the repetition rate of INS diaphragm gravure defects, improve product consistency and qualification rate.
