Abstract:
Objective: To review the research status and progress of minimally disruptive medicine (MDM) with a view and to provide a theoretical basis for reducing the treatment burden of patients with multimorbidity. Methods:"Minimal Destructive Medicine"was used as searching term in HowNet Database and Wanfang Database, and"Minimally Disruptive Medicine"was used as searching term in PubMed database. The literature was reviewed for a review of the concepts of minimally destructive medicine (MDM), four basic principles, care models, and tools and strategies for clinical implementation. Results: MDM was developed for the coexistence burden of chronic diseases. It had formed a detailed and detailed application of basic principles and care models. The tools and strategies developed by MDM have been applied in clinical practice with good Results. Conclusion: MDM has a positive effect on reducing the burden of treatment for the multimorbidity and it is worthy of further research and promotion.
