Abstract：

Blockchain technology, with its decentralized and tamper proof characteristics, has been widely applied in various fields such as finance and supply chain, and has had an impact on traditional business models. However, this technological innovation has also brought about a series of complex and urgent legal issues that need to be addressed. Starting from the basic principles, main characteristics, application fields, and significance of blockchain technology, this article deeply analyzes the legal effectiveness, data privacy protection, regulatory dilemma, and intellectual property protection of smart contracts. From a legal perspective, it explores the legal regulation of smart contracts, the construction of data privacy protection laws, innovative regulatory models, and the improvement of intellectual property laws. The aim is to propose targeted solutions from the theoretical and practical levels of law, providing theoretical basis and practical reference for improving the legal regulation of blockchain technology application, balancing technological innovation and legal supervision, and promoting the healthy development of blockchain technology on a legal and compliant track.
