Abstract:
In the context of the ongoing evolution of the global economy and the rise of digital technology, the manufacturing industry is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. In order to grasp these opportunities and cope with the challenges, the manufacturing industry must not only continue to promote technological innovation but also make efforts in cost management and optimise financial management processes to support its international development strategy. In light of the aforementioned considerations, this paper will discuss the significance of cost management in the manufacturing industry within the context of digital technology and propose targeted strategies. In particular, the strategies proposed include: the adoption of digital technology as a foundational principle; the construction of a cost management framework that is responsive to the evolving landscape of digital technology; the integration of financial software to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of cost management; the creation of an advanced production control platform through the utilisation of digital technology to achieve optimal resource allocation; and the combination of digital technology with the performance evaluation system to ensure that enterprise cost management is scientific and forward-looking. The implementation of these strategies is expected to provide strong support for the improvement of enterprise cost management and facilitate the sound and rapid development of the manufacturing industry in the new era.
