Abstract:
In fostering sustainable growth centered on green, low-carbon, and environmental preservation, the "dual carbon" initiative stands as the foundational pillar and guiding principle, pivotal to safeguarding the harmonious equilibrium between humanity and nature. Amidst this endeavor, the burgeoning digital economy emerges as a pivotal catalyst for achieving the "dual carbon" objectives. It fosters industrial restructuring and upgrading, fosters technological breakthroughs with ecological implications, effectively curbs carbon emissions, and enhances energy efficiency, thereby becoming an integral component of the green transformation narrative.Examining China's primary industrial sectors, there lies untapped potential in low-carbon mitigation strategies, necessitating urgent attention towards structural adjustment and enhancement. Here, the digital economy, leveraging its distinctive strengths, charts a novel trajectory for advancing green and low-carbon progress. Aligning the "dual carbon" aspiration as our navigational star, we marry its pursuit with the robust expansion of the digital economy, delving into innovative models of profound integration. This fusion aims to provide steadfast backing and strategic direction for China's green-low carbon transformation journey. This study delves into the intricate interplay and mutual reinforcement between the "dual carbon" aspiration and the digital economy, shedding light on the latter's singular contribution to fostering green and low-carbon advancements. By outlining concrete development trajectories, we aspire to contribute insights and actionable strategies to China's ongoing green-low carbon transformation endeavors, collectively advancing towards a more resilient and sustainable future.
