Abstract:

The total carbon emission control strategy occupies a core position in the process of strengthening climate governance and striving to achieve the goal of peaking carbon emissions, and its importance is self-evident. This strategy not only directly contributes to addressing climate change, but also promotes deep integration and synergies in areas such as climate governance and pollutant reduction. This article provides an in-depth look at the need for a cap on carbon emissions and the key considerations for driving work in other related areas. Through careful analysis, we realize that total volume control is not only a direct means to reduce emissions, but also an important lever to guide the transformation of social and economic structure to low carbon. At the same time, the paper also draws on the experience and course of the countries that have successfully achieved the peak of carbon emissions, and the practice of these countries provides valuable reference for our country. Through in-depth analysis, drawing on international experience and combining with domestic realities, we are expected to achieve more remarkable results in this field and contribute China's wisdom and strength to global climate governance.
