Abstract：

In recent years, extensive research has been conducted on the preparation of high catalytic performance electrodes and the development of electrocatalytic water treatment processes. This article introduces the basic principles of electrochemical water treatment, the preparation of electrode materials, and the research progress of electrocatalytic technology for degrading organic chemical wastewater. It analyzes the problems faced by electrocatalytic degradation of organic chemical wastewater and looks forward to the development trend of electrocatalytic technology in the field of organic chemical wastewater treatment.
