Abstract：

Music and science are closely connected with each other throughout the history as the two brilliant jewels of human civilisation. This study is based on an interdisciplinary perspective, and makes comprehensive use of literature research and interdisciplinary research methods to explore the intrinsic relationship between the two. Looking back to the ancient civilisation, from the Pythagorean school in ancient Greece, which initiated the marriage of the two, to the modern scientific revolution, which boosted the all-round innovation of music, the two interacted with each other frequently. The research results highlight the value of the deep integration of the two, injecting vitality into interdisciplinary expansion and social development, and looking forward to future exploration in the direction of deepening the integration mechanism, broadening the application boundaries, and innovating the technology integration mode, with a view to continuing to play the harmonious music of human progress.
