Abstract：

With the rapid development of digital technology, digital empowerment has been deeply embedded in the lives of university students, and has become an important means of ideological and political education in the new era. Digital empowerment not only realises the openness of education, breaks the limitations of time and space, and achieves resource sharing, but also brings opportunities and challenges to ideological and political education. Therefore, this paper starts from the perspective of digital empowerment, begins with the opportunities faced by ideological and political education, overcomes the dilemmas and challenges, further strengthens theoretical research, improves the policy system, enhances digital literacy, promotes the integration of ideological and political education and digitalisation, and realises the digitisation of ideological and political education, so as to meet the development needs of ideological and political education in the new era.
