Abstract:
Amid the wave of digital transformation in the global tourism industry, China's cultural and tourism industry is accelerating the construction of an intelligent ecosystem. This study focuses on three core issues: the differences in the driving mechanisms and implementation paths of digital transformation in the cultural and tourism industries between Suzhou and Xinjiang; the comparison of digital preservation and commercial value conversion models for cultural heritage; and the feasibility of digital technology transfer and experience replication between regions. By constructing a three-dimensional evaluation model called the \Resource-Tech-Market (RTM model), the study further points out that the Jiangnan water towns focus on smart scenic spots and immersive experiences, while the Western Silk Road uses digital preservation of cultural heritage as a breakthrough point. However, there are regional barriers in terms of technology adaptation and business model innovation. This study proposes a cross-regional collaborative development framework of \technology adaptation-scenario innovation-standard synergy to provide a theoretical basis and practical path for bridging the digital divide in the cultural and tourism industries between the eastern and western regions. This has significant value for promoting the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry through technology transfer from east to west and capital attraction from west to east.
