Abstract：

With the comprehensive promotion of the "Great Ideological and Political Course" construction, the integration of professional education and ideological and political education has become an important direction for talent cultivation in the new era. Environmental design, as a key discipline for improving living environment and inheriting regional culture, exploring its ideological and political elements and exploring educational paths has profound significance for cultivating versatile design talents. In today's society, environmental design is not only related to spatial aesthetics and functional realization, but also closely linked to ecological protection, cultural inheritance, and social development. Thoroughly exploring the ideological and political elements in environmental design, and systematically constructing a path to achieve educational functions, has become an inevitable requirement for improving the quality of professional education and implementing the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents. This study is based on the characteristics of the environmental design profession. By analyzing the course content, practical projects, and industry development trends, it explores the ideological and political elements contained in them, such as cultural confidence, ecological concepts, and social responsibility, and explores the implementation path of ideological and political education functions. The aim is to provide theoretical support and practical reference for the ideological and political construction of environmental design professional courses, and to help cultivate new era design talents with both exquisite professional abilities and profound patriotism.
