Abstract：

This paper discusses the application and challenges of big data technology in the protection of minority music resources in Sichuan. As a multi-ethnic region, Sichuan's minority music resources are of great significance in cultural inheritance. However, traditional protection methods face many limitations. Although digital platforms have been tried, they have not yet achieved ideal protection effects. The application of big data technology can greatly improve the protection efficiency and dissemination effect of music resources through data collection and processing, analysis and mining, and visualization. The article analyzes the functional module design of the big data collaboration platform, emphasizes the importance of data management and retrieval strategies, and proposes to explore the evolution and dissemination of ethnic music through music inheritance path analysis. Through this systematic technical means, the protection and inheritance of Sichuan's minority music resources can be effectively promoted, and the diversity of ethnic culture can be promoted.
