Abstract:

In the context of the 'two combinations' policy, the construction of grassroots party organizations in higher education institutions is facing numerous challenges. By analyzing the roles and characteristics of these grassroots party organizations, this study delves into the core issues in current party organization construction. These issues include the mismatch between the role of party organizations and the school's development goals, the lack of professional skills among party workers, the lack of innovation and relevance in party member education, and the overly monotonous forms of party activities. To address these issues, a series of improvement measures are proposed. These measures aim to narrow the gap between grassroots party organization construction and school goals, enhance the capabilities and training mechanisms for party workers, increase the relevance and innovation in party member education, and innovate the forms of party activities. The goal is to make the construction of grassroots party organizations in higher education institutions more aligned with the demands of educational progress in the new era, thereby fully leveraging their guiding and exemplary roles.
