Abstract：

The sense of community of the Chinese nation is the sense of identity, belonging, and responsibility formed by various ethnic groups through long-term exchanges, communication, and integration with the Chinese nation. It is the spiritual bond that maintains national unity and promotes ethnic solidarity. In the context of globalization today, the collision of diverse cultures makes it particularly important to strengthen the construction of a sense of community for the Chinese nation. Cultural symbols, as a condensed embodiment of national culture, carry rich historical connotations and values, and play an irreplaceable role in the construction of the Chinese national community consciousness. Based on this, this article classifies cultural symbols and explores their role in the construction of the Chinese national community consciousness. It also proposes strategies for using cultural symbols to construct this consciousness, aiming to provide theoretical reference for strengthening the Chinese national community consciousness.
