High-quality Development of Speech Emotion Recognition Empowered by Digital Technology: Internal Mechanisms, Practical Dilemmas, and Implementation Paths

Abstract:

The high-quality development of speech emotion recognition empowered by digital technology is the result of the combined effects of technological iteration, market demand, and policy guidance. In terms of technological evolution, breakthroughs in deep learning algorithms provide the core driving force. Convolutional neural networks and others improve recognition accuracy, far surpassing traditional methods that rely on handcrafted features. For market demand, there is a significant increase in the need for emotional interaction in areas like intelligent customer service. The popularity of consumer electronics drives the extension of recognition to edge computing. At the policy level, the 14th Five-Year Plan emphasizes artificial intelligence, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology works on intelligent speech technology, offering data, computing power, and scenario support for emotion recognition. The synergy of technology, market, and policy pushes speech emotion recognition from labs to industrialization, becoming a key growth point in human-computer interaction. So, grasping its internal mechanisms, clarifying dilemmas, and finding implementation paths are of great theoretical and practical importance.
