Abstract:
The rise of short-video platforms has brought profound changes to the creation and consumption patterns of film and television content. Short videos, with their brief and easy-to-spread characteristics, have rapidly gained a large amount of traffic and promoted the diversification, personalization and fragmentation of film and television content. This article, through literature review, case analysis and theoretical analysis, aims to explore the dual impact of the rise of short-video platforms on the creation and consumption patterns of film and television content, analyze the driving forces behind this transformation, and explore how the film and television industry can respond to challenges, seize opportunities and achieve sustainable development.
