Abstract：

Against the backdrop of unprecedented global transformation and the rapid advancement of generative AI, humanity is undergoing a profound cognitive shift from “intelligence empowerment” to “wisdom reshaping.” As one of the most embodied and emotionally expressive art forms, dance is being impacted and reshaped by this era of change. This paper examines the technological leap in AI, analyzing the technical characteristics of multimodal generative models from GPT, Sora, Runway, Move AI to RODIN, Suno, and Krea. It explores how AI deeply intervenes in dance creation across three dimensions—”body, space, and time”—transforming dance from a traditional physical performance art into a generative creative system that transcends media and spatial boundaries. The article argues that intelligence fundamentally manifests as algorithmic computational power, while wisdom is rooted in consciousness, emotion, and value judgment. The systemic divergence between these two constitutes the core domain of dance's artistic transformation. With advancements in motion capture, virtual dancers, digital stages, and automated music composition, dancers gain “digital bodies,” choreographers acquire “generative logic,” and stages become “adaptive spaces.” The dance industry is undergoing structural ecological reorganization. This paper aims to provide new perspectives and methodologies for theoretical construction and practical innovation in dance creation during the intelligent era.
