Abstract：

The idea of “integration of sports and arts” is rooted in China's excellent traditional culture, and after thousands of years of development, it has formed a continuous cultural lineage. With the rapid advancements of digital technology, it has become pervasive in the fields of sports and arts, changing the development direction of “sports and arts integration.” This article, using literature research and video analysis methods, systematically analyzes how digital technology 'revives' the bodily language, forms of presentation, and aesthetic experience in the fusion of sports and dance in the interactive dance work "Xi He Sword Instruments." It elaborates the contemporary developmental value and impact of digital technology on “sports and arts integration” from three aspects: visual perception, communication channels, and dancer creation. Furthermore, it provides future development suggestions from the perspectives of creators, educators, inheritors, and the government. The aim is to closely integrate sports and arts interdisciplinarily, enrich the connotation of art, allow traditional culture to remain vibrant, and promote the prosperous development of dance in the new era.
