Abstract:

The single fruit weight, volume, fruit shape index, fruit hardness, soluble solids, titratable acid and other indicators of "Tianhong 2" apple fruit under different cultivation modes were measured and comprehensively analyzed. The fruit quality of "Tianhong 2" apple was different under different cultivation modes. Dwarfing rootstocks had a certain inhibition on fruit growth, with low single fruit weight and high fruit density. In a certain range, lower planting density can increase the weight and volume of fruit. The vertical and horizontal diameters of dwarf⁃ ing rootstocks were relatively low,and the cultivation mode had no significant effect on fruit shape index and skewness index. The cultiva⁃ tion mode of arborization and dense planting can improve the fruit hardness. The content of titratable acid was relatively low in the model of arborization and sparse planting. Different cultivation models had no significant effect on the content of soluble solids and the solid acid ra⁃ tio of "Tianhong 2" fruit. The cultivation mode of arborization and close planting should be mainly implemented in the superior production areas of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. The existing dwarf rootstock close planting apple orchard can improve the utiliza⁃ tion rate of light energy through measures such as reducing the density and shrinking the crown. The arbor rootstock thin planting apple or⁃ chard can be transformed through measures such as dropping the head and changing year by year.
