Abstract:

In agricultural production, the field environment has an effect on the growth and yield of crops. People mainly use chemical fertilizers, weeds, and insecticides to increase crop yields, but this is not conducive to sustainable agricultural development. The purpose of increasing crop yield, weeding and insecticide can be achieved by using chemical fertilizers, weeds and insecticides, which is not conducive to the sus⁃ tainable development of agriculture. Agroforestry is an important means of sustainable agricultural development. It can inhibit weeds,in⁃ crease nitrogen utilization, improve soil quality, improve orchard microclimate, control insect pests, and improve soil microbial community and diversity. This paper systematically summarizes the current types and functions of agroforestry systems in Xinjiang from the aspects of the development, crop types, main functions and problems of agroforestry systems. This lays a theoretical foundation for the future research and application of agroforestry system in Xinjiang agricultural production.
