Abstract:

Cervical diseases refer to various clinical syndromes caused by damage or degeneration of the bones, joints, intervertebral discs, and soft tissues around the vertebrae of the cervical spine, which, under certain triggering conditions, result in dislocation of spinal joints, protrusion of intervertebral discs, calcification of ligaments, or bone hyperplasia, directly or indirectly stimulating or compressing the spinal nerve roots, vertebral arteries and veins, spinal cord, or sympathetic nerves. Cervical headache, cervical tinnitus, cervical hypertension, and cervical periarthritis are four common types of cervical diseases in clinical practice. These diseases are mostly treated with traditional Chinese medicine methods, which have achieved good therapeutic effects. However, the focus of treatment varies depending on the main clinical manifestations.
