Abstract：

Antibiotic associated diarrhea (AAD) is a common drug side effect, and traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in treating AAD. This article reviews the research progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of AAD in recent years. Traditional Chinese medicine has certain therapeutic effects and advantages in treating AAD, but its mechanism of action still needs further in-depth research. Future research should focus on the standardization and standardization of traditional Chinese medicine treatment for AAD, strengthen clinical trials and basic research, and provide more effective traditional Chinese medicine plans for clinical treatment of AAD.
