Abstract：

Diabetes nephropathy (DKD) is one of the serious complications of diabetes. The endstage patients will have irreversible renal failure with high mortality, which will bring heavy burden to society and families. TCM treatment based on syndrome differentiation plays an important role in the treatment of diabetes nephropathy, and has good efficacy in improving clinical symptoms, reducing urinary protein and improving renal function. In this paper, the literature on the treatment of diabetes nephropathy based on syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine in recent years is summarized from the aspects of syndrome differentiation by stages, viscera, etiology, meridians, and triple energizer, and the different understandings and treatment rules of clinicians on this disease are summarized, so as to broaden everyone's thinking and clinical vision and improve the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in treating diabetes nephropathy. The current summary is as follows.
