Abstract：

This article summarizes the problems and contraindications in the use of traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations, analyzes the factors affecting the efficacy of traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations, and provides a reference for understanding the rational use of traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations. It is believed that traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations should pay attention to syndrome differentiation and treatment in the course of use, and reasonably select dosage form, dosage and combination mode; The rational use of traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations should follow the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, consider the factors affecting the efficacy, and combine the drug taboos to play the role of traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations in combination, so that traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations can contribute to the development of modern medicine.
