Abstract：

In the digital age, social media has accelerated unregulated information spread, leaving the health sector vulnerable to rumors that mislead the public and disrupt health-related decisions. Since the launch of the “Healthy China strategy” in 2017, health rumor-refutation has grown critical for enhancing public health literacy. This study adopts Fairclough’s three-dimensional model to analyze rumor-refutation discourse on the official WeChat account Healthy China, exploring its linguistic features, dissemination mechanisms, and social functions. It provides theoretical support for more effective rumor-refutation and health communication.
